During deep tissue massage we work with slow, gentle touch so that pain and tension can be released. We work beyond the superficial layers as well, affecting the muscles, connective tissue, the functioning of internal organs, and the nervous system too.

The goal is essentially to be pain-free, so by cooperating with the nervous system we can achieve more effective and longer-lasting results in relaxation and tissue mobility.

In immobile, even scarred connective tissue, adhesions can cause stiffness and pain, which then reduces the efficiency of lymph and blood circulation, the effective functioning of nerve pathways, and can lead to restricted movement.

Deep tissue mobilization is a technique we use to release and free tension in muscles, fascia, ligaments and other soft tissues; thereby we stimulate circulation, significantly reduce pain, and increase range of motion. We work without a medium (cream/oil)!
