Yin yoga is a deeply meditative, inward-focused style in which we hold poses for a long time—typically 3–5 minutes—to target deeper connective tissues. This passive practice, built on quieting down and respecting the body’s physical limits, helps release tension while fine-tuning the energetic system and creating deep inner balance. As a teacher, learning yin yoga also helps you create a safe, inclusive, and restorative space for practitioners alongside more dynamic, yang-type classes.
